How can I set up my account for the first time?

Click on this URL and click on "forgotten password". From here you will receive a reset link which will allow you to input your new password. Once logged in you will be able to edit your personal and organisational details as shown in the video. I'm having trouble logging into my account. What should I do?

Make sure that your details are all correct. Check the email address is correct, and if in doubt, you can reset your password using the forgotten password link. If you don't receive a reset link, it might be because your account has not yet been activated on the platform. In this case, please let Fabio know at fabio@makespaceoxford.org. For anything else, please contact Fabio. We will never ask you for your password.

Where do I update my contact details?

Once logged in, click on the user icon in the top right corner of the screen. Click on 'My Account' and you will first see your profile details. From there, click on the 'Edit Details' button and update your personal information.

How do I add another team member to my team?

Once logged in, click on the user icon in the top right corner of the screen. Click on 'Settings' and scroll down until you see the 'Add Team Member' button. If you can't see this button, it is likely you are not your team's admin user(s). If this is a mistake, please get in touch with an existing team admin and they will be able to add you. Once a team admin, you can fill out the form and send an email invite to the new team member. They will then be able to sign up and add in their details.

What is a channel and how can I make the best use of it?

A channel is a page dedicated to a specific topic, organising resources, links and notes and enabling members to share their skills and experiences with others. Follow channels you are interested in. Request to become a channel contributor, or make your own channel and share what you know.
